The strange and miraculous sickness of fetish priestess Yaworshie Nuga of Atiavi Glime in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region lasted for the past 20 years.
She behaves abnormally and also suffers intermittent swelling of the head.

The family visited several medical facilities for diagnosis of her condition, but all attempts for the past 20 years was unfruitful, hence the young woman has been suffering excruciating pain with sleepless nights all these years.
According to a petition from the palace of Togbi Hatsu, the traditional ruler of the community to the Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation, Mr. Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe for intervention, the chief pleaded with the Foundation to investigate the allegations of conflict of interest between Madam Lugushie the head of the ” LUGU” shrine of the family and Yaworshie, who is allegedly possessed by the same gods.
Togbi further states that the family resorted to consult the gods when their daughter’s sickness become protracted with no solution in sight.
The gods allegedly claimed they have possessed Yaworshie and she is supposed to become a priestess of the shrine.
Meantime, Madam Lugushie is the substantive chief priestess of the family, hence a conflict of interest lingered within the family while the victim suffers in pain.
The timely intervention of the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa 100.3 FM, through research, investigation and collaborations with relevant stakeholders has brought the two families together as one.
It took the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa 100. 3 Fm in Dzodze four months of research, education and collaboration with relevant stakeholders to unravel the mysteries behind the sickness and intervene for peaceful resolution.
A public arbitration was convened by Togbi Hatsu in his palace on Thursday the 8th day of September 2022, where a family head was appointed.
A traditional reconciliation took place at the same time and Mama Lugushie and Madam Yaworshie were duly reconciled.
The family agreed to work together with the two spiritual antagonists to pacify their family gods and enstool Yaworshie as an assistant priestess to priestess Lugushie.
The 20 years of hitherto antagonistic diabolical conflict was successfully resolved between June and September, 2022.
Members of the community and the general public express their profound gratitude to God Almighty for the divine empowerment of the Duamenefa Foundation for such interventions.
