I WAS SICK AND YOU VISITED ME …

In the Gospel of Mathew Chapter 25 verse 36, Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ admonished us to care for the sick and for this reason Fafaa FM’s NGO dubbed  Duamenefa Foundation with its associates and partners, such as Nyonyo Foundation Ghana, Dr. and Mrs. Stephen Dordunu of Maryland, USA, Dr. and Mrs. David Kotei Nutakor of California, USA, Mawuena Ministries, USA/Ghana, Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Attipoe of Ghana, The Ministerial Bible College Ghana, on Tuesday, 4th January 2022 paid a visit to St. Anthony Hospital, Dzodze and Sacred Heart Hospital, Abor where the team had fraternity with the sick people on admission through provision of food and beverages.

The team would continue its fraternity to other facilities in the Volta Region of Ghana, such as the Keta Municipal Hospital, Keta and In My Father’s House Children’s Village, Abor on Thursday the 6th day of January 2022.

Led by its International Director of Operations, Rev. Diane Westcott, a Missionary and Volunteer from the USA, accompanied by other Volunteers and Staff of Fafaa FM, the team had fellowship with the Management and Staff of the aforementioned Hospitals with schedules to visit other hospitals subsequently during the yuletide.

The Medical Superintendent of St Anthony’s Hospital, Dzodze, Dr. Samuel Foster expressed gratitude to the NGO and its partners for the great relief and support to over 400 in and out patients of the Hospital. He commended them for being consistent with their ecclesiastical support to the sick over the period of years.

In another development, The Medical Director of Sacred Heart Hospital, Dr. Akakpo Ashiadey also expressed his profound appreciations to the Executive President of Duamenefa Foundation, Mr. Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe and his board of governors; he also asked for God’s blessing upon the NGO and its associates at home and abroad.

The Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa 100.3 FM has instituted its care for the sick and the vulnerable of the society as one of its key thematic areas of intervention with support from associates and partners at home and abroad over the period of years. The Foundation targeted to cater for 1200 sick persons during this festive season.

The Duamenefa Foundation has 22,578 (Twenty-Two Thousand, Five Hundred and Seventy-Eight) registered and certified volunteers as of 31st December, 2021, (still growing) in the various communities of the Volta Region of Ghana. Their mandate is to promote peaceful coexistence through community fun games and development of youth and sports with care for the vulnerable. The Foundation has its international office in the USA state of Alabama.
