Saturday October 2nd, witnessed the historic burial of Madam Amivi Yevu, at Klikor in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta Region, as thousands of mourners from all walks of life gathered to pay their last respect to the woman whose “will” during her lifetime was to be buried with a radio coffin from the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa 100.3 Fm Dzodze.
The coffin was constructed by SETHOBA Construction Company headed by Rev. Seth Savior Sosu Bakah of the Duamenefa Foundation.
This according to her, is to fulfil her passion for the great Duamenefa Social Intervention radio program of Fafaa 100. 3 Fm Dzodze, dubbed “DUAMENEFA”, even after her death.
For the past 10 years, she faithfully listened to the Duamenefa Social Intervention Program on Fafaa 100.3 FM and found it intriguing; aligning with her belief for peaceful coexistence as the name of the program implies, hence she was registered and certified as one of the over 17,870 membership volunteers of the foundation with the mandate to promote peaceful coexistence of people in the various communities.

Before her demise, she contacted Fafaa 100.3 FM and also told her family of her will to be buried in no uncertain terms with her beloved radio casket tuned to Fafaa 100.3 FM with her Duamenefa Foundation Membership Certificate in hand to be shown to the world hereafter. This was fulfilled by the Board of Governors of the Duamenefa Foundation to satisfy her will.
A citation to immortalized her declaration was awarded by the Board of Governors of the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa 100.3 Fm Dzodze prior to her home call.
Togbi Addoh VIII, the Paramount King of Klikor Traditional Area, in an interview with Fafaa Fm yesterday described the event as historic in the history of his traditional area. According to him, the great social intervention efforts of the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa Fm is worthy to be praised to the world beyond here, and the will of Madam Amivi Yevu has set a historic record to this effect.
