For more than 25 years, the chiefs and people of Gakpokorpe Community in the Akatsi South District of the Volta Region, the state of fear and panic due to allegations of wizardry attacks being manipulated by two members of the Gakpo family namely; Agbotadua Amegavi Gakpo and Masaga Gakpo was the order of their everyday life until the timely intervention of the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa FM Dzodze came to their rescue.
This necessitated a petition from Mr. Phillip Gakpo to the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa 100.3 FM , after the failure on the part of the family to convince the two siblings to surrender the mysterious spirit which was allegedly inherited from their late father.
At the same time, Agbotadua Amegavi Gakpo and Masaga also petitioned the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa FM to investigate and unravel the mysteries surrounding this wizardry pot since they are being accused unjustifiably.
The Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa FM deployed its undercover investigation team to the rescue mission.
After 18 months of tireless investigations, interrogations and interviews of key lawful stakeholders, it was agreed that a traditional arbitration be held to conclude the findings of the Foundation, hence the first community arbitration for intervention was held on Wednesday the 21st day of July, 2021, where after series of interrogations both parties asked the chiefs to subject them through the process of Ifa divination.
According to them, that was the basis of their faith because their father initiated the 11 siblings to Ifa divination cult practices and that should be the only justification to prove the person who is in possession of the alleged dangerous wizardry spirit. The chiefs therefore had no hesitation but to agree with their suggestions. The arbitration was thus rescheduled to Thursday the 28th day of July 2021.
Present at the final arbitration were retinue of chiefs of Akatsi Live and its environs, the District Director of the NCCE Akatsi , Rev. Vincent Adika who began with education on customary traditional arbitration per the provisions of the 1992 constitution of Ghana. According to him, our chiefs are permitted by customary law to engage the services of soothsayers in spiritual matters to justify the faith and beliefs of people who practice the art, compare to the case of the Gakpo family. He made special reference to Republic of Burkina Faso where spiritual matters are enshrined in their constitution with its prescribed penalties.
The District Police Commander of Akatsi, Chief Superintendent Joseph Dzineku, was present with his team of police officers. He educated the people on the need to coexist peacefully with one another devoid of using the spirits of our forebears to the detriment of one another.
The chiefs proceeded with instructions to the soothsayers to conduct their traditional divination to unravel the mysteries behind the wizardry orchestration in the community.

It was finally revealed that the wizardry spirit is in the possession of Agbotadua Amegavi Gakpo and his sister Masaga Gakpo, that they have relocated the spirit from Gakpokorpe at the time of the community arbitration. The two initially denied the proposition of the soothsayers but after thorough interpretation of the code by other practitioners of the cult, Agbotadua Amegavi pleaded with the chiefs to give him a period of one week to surrender the wizardry spirits.

The timely intervention of the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa FM has saved the community from bizarre of wizardry attacks ranging from :
- Strange occurrences such as untimely death of members of the Gakpo family.
- Togbi Agbedor, the Divisional Chief, when interviewed claimed that 5 of his children died simultaneously and in very mysterious circumstances as a result of the manipulation of the wizardry spirit. According to the divisional Chief, his remaining two children are also rendered imbecile by this spirit.
- Georgina Gakpo , a practicing nurse and member of the family had a dream that she was bitten by a strange snake and when she woke up her leg was swollen. She tried to seek medical solutions from one hospital to the other until her untimely death recently.
- Angela, also a member of the family claimed on Fafaa FM during an on-air interview that she suffered terrible trauma in the hands of this wicked spirit, according to her, the wizardry spirit visits her in the form of a wild creature, very black in complexion and over 12 feet tall. She claimed that anytime the creature entered her room in the middle of the night, the lights would turn off automatically and the wizard would forcefully have sexual intercourse with her.
She further states that the sperm of the wizard is always found in her private part after the intercourse. This development has driven away all suitors who want her hand in marriage. - Patience, another member of the family also alleges during the investigation that she is above 40 years and unable to marry due to the physical and spiritual involvement with the wizardry spirits.
The Assembly man of the community Hon. Justice Goka also claimed that, he has succeeded in contracting an electrification project for 18 communities of the Akatsi South District, among them is the Gakpokorpe community. Seventeen out of the 18 communities were connected to the National grid except Gakpokorpe. He stated that the Chinese contractor was forced to flee with his workers when he encountered the strange wizardry spirit in his sleep. The Chinese contractor told him, the wizardry spirits interfere with their operations and warned him not to connect light to the community because he, the wizard, is a spirit of light governing the territory. The contractor abandoned the project and fled with his workers.
The mammoth crowd of people from all walks of life who witnessed the timely intervention of the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa FM praised God for using Fafaa FM and its NGO, Duamenefa Foundation for this major intervention after so many years of torment in the hands of this allege wizardry spirits.
The Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa FM is a Non-profit organization with over 16,135 registered and certified volunteers of diverse backgrounds scattered across the length and breadth of our nation Ghana (still registering volunteers).
Their mandate is to collaborate with lawful state institutions to investigate and intervene to rescue the vulnerable whose human rights are being trampled upon through manipulation and orchestration of diabolical methods.
This latest Gakpokorpe community intervention numbered 424 successful interventions so far.
