GHC 41,900.00 PROTOCOL ENLISTMENT FEE RECOVERED

In a petition for investigation and intervention, dated 25th October, 2021 and addressed to Mr. Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe, the Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation and CEO of Fafaa 100.3 FM Dzodze in Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region, the petitioner, Anagbla Rebecca Etornam alleged that seven illustrious citizens of Ghana and natives of Dzodze were duped by one Nana Kwaku Kornu in total sum of Ghc 41,900.00. Forty-One Thousand Nine-Hundred Ghana Cedis, with the intention to give them access to protocol enlistment into the Ghana armed forces.

The aforementioned job seeking natives of Dzodze in their bid to get recruitment into the Ghana armed forces were introduced to Nana Kwaku Kornu by one Mr. Gabriel Awudi to facilitate their engagement through protocol enlistment.

According to the petition, Nana Kwaku Kornu gave an assurance that the seven allotments were reserved and two of them are meant for the Immigration department which attracts Ghc 6,700.00, while police recruitment attracts
Ghc 5,700.00 for recruitment.

The seven young enthusiastic applicants had no hesitation, and paid the various sums of money totaling Ghc 41,900.00 (Forty-One Thousand, Nine-Hundred Ghana Cedis) to Mr. Kornu since the year 2019.

When all efforts to secure enrolment failed and their money could not be refunded either, they resulted to pursuing Mr. Kornu through various avenues, including a visit to his office, reports to members of his political party, and for almost three years their efforts towards recovery of their deposit could not yield the desire results until Rebecca, through the counsel of well-meaning Ghanaians, was directed to petition the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa FM for investigation and intervention.

The timely intervention of the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa 100.3 FM, through corporate collaboration with the Ghana Police Service, Dzodze and Ho divisions, saw the refund of the total money to the individuals, in less than three months from the date of their petition to the Foundation.

The Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa 100.3 FM Dzodze, is a Non-Profit Organization vested with the mandate to promote peaceful coexistence of people in the various communities through investigation and intervention to rescue the vulnerable whose human rights are being trampled upon through diabolical orchestration and physical manipulations.
