The deities were considered as dangerous and could kill anybody who dared the spiritualist. Mr. Avume burnt all the deities in the glare of the whole community. He gave his life to Jesus and accepted the Lord Jesus as his personal Savior.

The allegations that Mr. Avume possesses so much spiritual prowess to the detriment of the entire community were contained in a petition dated 7th August 2023, and addressed to the Executive President of the Fafaa 100.3 FM’s Duamenefa Foundation, Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe for investigation and intervention.

The timely intervention of the Foundation, through undercover investigation by journalists of Fafaa 100.3 FM, Dzodze, and an on-air radio interrogation of all parties connected to the petition yielded the positive result. Mr. Avume who initially denied the allegations levelled against him later admitted and surrendered himself to Christ.
