Kekeli Agbadza Group Electrifies Costheta Educational Support Fund with Stunning Cultural Display

The Kekeli Agbadza Group from Rhema Full Gospel Church delivered a captivating cultural performance at the Costheta Educational Support Fund program, leaving attendees thrilled and deeply impressed by their vibrant display of traditional Ewe music and dance.

The event was held on Thursday, 30th April, 2026, at the Duamenefa Mission House at Woe Aklorbordzi, opposite the Roman Catholic Church off Deku Road. It brought together church members, students, educators, and community stakeholders in a colorful and inspiring gathering aimed at supporting educational development and promoting academic assistance for students.

Amid the formal speeches and presentations, the Kekeli Agbadza Group added energy and excitement to the occasion with a powerful performance marked by rhythmic drumming, coordinated dance steps, and passionate traditional chants. Dressed in beautiful cultural attire, the group showcased discipline, unity, and a strong connection to Ewe heritage.

Their performance drew loud applause and cheers from the audience, many of whom joined in clapping and celebrating the moment. The display was widely regarded as one of the highlights of the program, bringing a lively cultural dimension to the educational fundraising event. Many attendees described their performance as absolutely amazing and very well executed, expressing great joy and satisfaction with what they witnessed.

Organizers and guests praised the group for their excellent presentation and for representing Rhema Full Gospel Church with excellence. One attendee described the performance as a perfect blend of culture, talent, and purpose that uplifted the entire program.

Beyond the entertainment, the event also highlighted the growing importance of community-based support systems in education. Speakers emphasized that such initiatives help reduce the financial burden on students while encouraging more young people to pursue higher education.

The program also sparked discussions on the need to preserve indigenous cultural performances like Agbadza, especially among the youth. Many participants noted that modern influences are gradually reducing interest in traditional arts, making platforms like this event crucial for cultural preservation.

In addition, leaders at the event called for stronger collaboration between churches, cultural groups, and educational organizations to promote both academic excellence and cultural identity. They stressed that combining education with cultural expression helps build well-rounded and socially responsible young people.

One notable aspect of the Kekeli Agbadza Group performance was their strong sense of discipline regarding time. They performed strictly within the time allotted to them and respectfully concluded their act once their time was up, allowing the program to continue smoothly with other scheduled activities. Unlike some cultural groups that extend their performance beyond agreed time limits and disrupt event schedules, the Kekeli Agbadza Group demonstrated professionalism and respect for the organizers, ensuring the program flow remained orderly and uninterrupted.

According to the group leader, who previously spoke on Fafaa 100.3 FM regarding their preparations for the program, they were fully ready and determined to deliver a performance that would leave a lasting impression. He confidently assured listeners that their presentation would be outstanding, and indeed their performance at the ceremony reflected that promise, as widely acknowledged by attendees and organizers alike.

He further indicated that the group remains open to invitations from event organizers who may wish to engage them for cultural performances. He noted that they are willing to perform at any suitable event, provided arrangements are properly made, all to the glory of the Lord.

The Executive President of Duamenefa Foundation and Chief Executive Officer of Fafaa 100.3 FM, Mr Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, also expressed his appreciation for the group’s outstanding performance. He thanked the Kekeli Agbadza Group for their excellent display and contribution to the success of the program, commending them for their talent, discipline, and cultural excellence.
