Christian Corley Appointed Acting Chairman of Duamenefa Regional Tournament LOC

Christian Corley has been appointed Acting Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the Duamenefa Regional Tournament, with immediate effect.

The appointment, contained in a letter dated September 19, 2026, was issued by the Duamenefa Foundation in recognition of Mr. Corley’s competency, commitment, leadership qualities, experience and demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage tournament-related activities.

As Acting Chairman, Mr. Corley will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the LOC to ensure the successful organization and conclusion of the tournament.

His responsibilities will also include coordinating referees and other officiating officials to promote effective, fair and professional officiating throughout the competition.

He has further been tasked with identifying outstanding players from participating teams for consideration and possible further development by Sesi Edem Football Academy, in line with the objectives and arrangements of the tournament.

Mr. Corley will also coordinate logistics and activities for the Grand Durbar, while liaising with and reporting to the Acting General Manager on major activities, decisions, challenges and transactions relating to the tournament.

The Foundation has directed him to work closely with members of the LOC, tournament officials, participating teams, sponsors, partners and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the tournament.

The Duamenefa Foundation expressed confidence that Mr. Corley’s experience, dedication and leadership would contribute significantly to the successful organization of the tournament and wished him success in the discharge of his new responsibilities.
