The Executive President of the “Duamenefa” Foundation and Chief Executive Officer of Fafaa 100.3 FM, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, popularly known as Torgbui Duamenefa I, has revealed that the Duamenefa Foundation has successfully saved 725 lives entangled in the web of spiritual manipulation and orchestrations and some of them at the near point of death, over the past 15 years through its humanitarian interventions.
He made this disclosure during the Duamenefa Social Intervention Programme of Fafaa 100.3 Fm, where he reflected on the foundation’s journey, impact, and commitment to humanity.
According to him, the Duamenefa Foundation was established with a clear mission to save the lives of the vulnerable and promote peace in every community, a mandate that continues to guide all its activities.
Torgbui Duamenefa I described the milestone as a testament to compassion, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to service. He explained that the number of lives saved represents real people—children, families, and individuals—whose survival has strengthened communities and inspired the foundation to remain steadfast in its work.
He also urged the public to act promptly when submitting petitions for investigation, explaining that delays often result in victims losing their lives before action is taken. “Some petitions brought to us are not on time,” he noted, “and waiting too long can have fatal consequences for those who need help urgently.” He added that there are many petitions currently under investigation by the Duamenefa Foundation. He expressed confidence that, God willing, those involved will be saved.
Torgbui Duamenefa I further highlighted that the Duamenefa Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) with its Ghana headquarters located in the premises of Fafaa 100.3 Fm, Dzodze and offices in its international office is located in Alabama in the USA. He stated that the foundation currently has 48,654 registered volunteer- members—and still counting—a number that reflects its growing reach and influence.
He emphasized that the Duamenefa Foundation does not only investigate matters and save lives but also promotes peaceful coexistence in communities, supports local development initiatives, and assists people in various ways to improve livelihoods. “Our work extends beyond emergencies; we are committed to helping communities thrive and fostering harmony among residents,” he said.
Despite facing challenges such as limited resources, institutional constraints, and difficult operating environments, he noted that the foundation has consistently intervened in critical moments, particularly during medical emergencies and social crises. He stressed that saving lives, promoting peace, and supporting community development are inseparable goals that must be pursued together for sustainable progress.
The Executive President also called on government institutions, health facilities, civil society organizations, and well-meaning individuals to collaborate more effectively to reduce preventable deaths and foster peaceful coexistence across communities. He emphasized the need for empathy, accountability, and respect for human dignity in service delivery.
Over the last 15 years, the Duamenefa Foundation has been actively involved in educational support, advocacy for human right, promotion of peaceful coexistence, promoting of youth and sports, empowering skills acquisitions, and community outreach, earning recognition for its consistency and impact. Torgbui Duamenefa I reaffirmed the foundation’s commitment to expanding its reach, strengthening peace initiatives, and saving even more lives in the years ahead.
He further noted that NGOs like the Duamenefa Foundation face significant challenges, including inadequate funding, bureaucratic delays, and public misconceptions. He encouraged the government and private sector to support organizations that work on the frontlines to protect vulnerable communities, emphasizing that partnerships are essential for sustainable impact.
Torgbui Duamenefa I also highlighted the critical importance of timely intervention, noting that delayed action in emergencies can cost lives. He appealed to both the public and authorities to act swiftly when petitions for intervention are submitted, reminding citizens that their prompt engagement can make the difference between life and death for those in urgent need.
Finally, he called on communities to actively participate in promoting peace and supporting vulnerable individuals. He stressed that collective responsibility, volunteerism, and community vigilance are key factors in reducing social tensions and saving lives, adding that the foundation’s success over the past 15 years has been made possible by the solidarity and cooperation of the people it serves.
