A self-proclaimed prophet, Karl Vincent, founder of the Jesus Synagogue Kingdom Church of All Nation, is under growing public scrutiny following controversial theological claims and multiple allegations relating to activities within his church.
The prophet has sparked widespread debate after reportedly describing the Bible as “just history,” arguing that biblical events were once lived experiences that later became historical accounts. He is said to have explained that what is recorded in scripture today reflects the lives of people who once walked the earth, just as current generations will one day become history.
Based on this belief, Prophet Karl Vincent has reportedly stated that he is writing his own Bible so that future generations would know that a person he refers to as “Prophet I Am That I Am” once lived. He claims this mirrors how the actions and lives of biblical prophets were documented over time.
These declarations have raised concern among religious leaders, theologians, and members of the public, many of whom question the theological and ethical implications of presenting personal writings as scripture.
Beyond his public statements, the prophet is also facing allegations linked to an anointing ceremony during which he ordained a church member as a pastor. According to the petition, the individual allegedly developed a strange and persistent illness following the anointing, prompting family members to seek external intervention.
The case has been formally reported to the Duamenefa Foundation. A petition was submitted to the Executive President of the Foundation and CEO of Fafaa 100.3 FM, Mr. Emmanuel Evortepe Ketaman, by Madam Amegashitsi Bertha on behalf of her son, Emmanuel Nutsugah, who is believed to be the affected individual.
Sources say the Duamenefa Foundation made attempts to engage Prophet Karl Vincent to respond to the allegations and clarify concerns raised against him. However, the scheduled interaction did not take place after he was reportedly unable to come online. The Foundation has stressed that investigations remain ongoing.
According to the Foundation, the nature of the prophet’s public statements and the allegations against him have made it necessary to deepen investigations to establish the full facts surrounding the matter.
As part of this process, the Foundation engaged a former member of the church during a Duamenefa Foundation programme on Thursday, 18th December 2025. During the interaction, Mr. Theophilius, a former member of the Jesus Synagogue Kingdom Church of All Nation, shared his experiences at the ministry.
He stated that while regular church activities appeared normal, healing and deliverance sessions raised concerns. According to him, Prophet Karl Vincent allegedly administered a liquid substance from a plastic bottle, similar to a Bingo drink bottle, which the prophet claimed was a mixture of garlic and anointing oil intended to protect members from witchcraft attacks. Mr. Theophilius said these practices influenced his decision to leave the church.
He further alleged that the prophet had given conflicting accounts regarding his ordination, at one point claiming to have been ordained by the late Prophet T.B. Joshua, and at another time stating that Evangelist Agboyibor ordained him. The Duamenefa Foundation has described these accounts as contradictory and subject to further investigation.
In a related development, the Foundation also engaged Madam Victoria, who raised separate allegations involving the prophet. She claimed that a member of the church impregnated her daughter and that the matter was not properly handled by church leadership.
According to her account, after her daughter gave birth and later fell ill, the prophet allegedly kept her at the church premises, claiming he was treating her. Madam Victoria said she later intervened, removed her daughter, and took her to Saint Anthony Hospital for medical care. She alleged that without her action, her daughter’s condition could have worsened.
She also claimed that certain areas of the church premises were restricted and that Prophet Karl Vincent allegedly warned her against reporting the matter, claiming a personal connection with Mr. Emmanuel Evortepe Ketaman from their time at the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Nigeria. These claims remain allegations and are under investigation.
The actions and public statements attributed to the prophet have reportedly caused confusion among sections of the public, with growing calls for clarity and accountability.
Mr. Emmanuel Evortepe Ketaman, Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation, said the Foundation’s primary concern is to ensure the well-being of alleged victims and protect the public from any form of deceptive spiritual practices. He emphasized that investigations are ongoing and that the Foundation remains committed to safeguarding peace and public safety.
