The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Ketu North Municipal Assembly, Hon. Rev. Martin Amenaki, has lauded the Duamenefa Foundation for what he described as its outstanding role in saving lives and transforming communities through timely humanitarian and spiritual interventions.
Speaking on Fafaa 100.3 FM during the Duamenefa Review Programme on Tuesday, Hon. Rev. Amenaki said the foundation’s work, guided by the grace of God, has led to the protection of many individuals from both spiritual and physical harm, while also contributing to a noticeable reduction in harmful and wicked practices in several communities.
According to him, the interventions of the Duamenefa Foundation have liberated many communities from destructive spiritual activities, creating peace and stability and encouraging natives living elsewhere to return home and contribute to local development.
Hon. Rev. Amenaki described the Duamenefa Programme as one of the most important radio programmes he follows, noting that he has been a loyal listener since its early days on Jubilee Radio before it was relocated to Dzodze. He explained that Fafaa 100.3 FM was established primarily to host the programme, underscoring its significance.
He attributed his continued interest in the programme to the depth of experience of its panel members, whom he referred to as mentors. He added that discussions on the show are educative, enlightening, and impactful, making it a vital platform for public awareness and community empowerment.
The MCE further expressed profound appreciation to the Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation and Chief Executive Officer of Fafaa 100.3 FM, Mr. Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe, popularly known as Torgbui Duamenefa I, for his unwavering commitment to humanity. He stated that through his leadership, the foundation has saved numerous lives across various communities in Ghana and beyond.
Hon. Rev. Amenaki noted that the activities of the foundation have significantly contributed to the reduction of harmful spiritual practices, bringing relief and peace to affected families and communities.
Citing a specific case, he recounted an incident at Gbegbekorpe, where a chief was critically ill due to what was believed to be a spiritual attack. He explained that a grave had been secretly dug in a room and was being used for spiritual practices allegedly linked to the chief’s deteriorating health.
According to him, the swift intervention of the Duamenefa Foundation led to the grave being covered, after which the chief recovered. He described the incident as a clear manifestation of God’s power working through the foundation.
Hon. Rev. Amenaki therefore commended the Duamenefa Foundation for its prompt and decisive actions and encouraged it to continue its humanitarian and spiritual support to people in distress.
