The community of Akornukorpe in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region was thrown into a state of shock and disbelief when a self-confessed witch, Madam Favor Apedo, admitted to bewitching her brother, Mr. Paul Apedo and other members of the community.
According to Paul, he became mysteriously sick for the past two years with no orthodox medical solution in sight even though he visited over nine renowned medical facilities within Takwa and Accra.
SOME OF THE VARIOUS HEALTH FACILITIES VISITED
Paul further claimed that a medical doctor in one of the facilities he visited told him he has between 17 to 20 days to die because his heart has decayed beyond medical solution.
Lo and behold, when he visited his village to seek for prayer intervention, his senior sister Favor who accompanied him to a prayer camp was caught confessing that she belongs to the witches’ coven where she was forced against her wishes to donate her brother as her contribution to the coven.
She further confessed publicly before the Hon. Assemblyman Paul Atisey and other members of the family that Paul has only 17 days to live on earth (same report Paul received from the medical Doctor), because according to Favor, they have eaten part of his heart and he is a living corpse.
She mentioned other prominent members of the community, including one Mr. Kormivi Anyana, the chief priest of the community stool house as members of the witchcraft coven.
Paul claimed he sold 5 out of his 7 cars with other properties to pay hospital bills over the period of two years without successful resolution, and Favor alleged they (the witches) manipulated him to sell his properties in order to render him poorest of the poor, and they have succeeded.
The Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa FM was duly petitioned to investigate and intervene to save the life of Paul Apedo. The petition yielded positive results through Christian prayer for intervention on the airwaves of Fafaa 100.3 FM Dzodze.
A week after the first series of intervention broadcast, Paul reported that his condition has improved considerably and he could eat and walk about unlike before.
Favor confessed on air and requested the intervention prayer warriors of the Duamenefa Foundation of Fafaa FM to save her from the witches’ coven.
Mr. Kormivi Anyana denied the allegations leveled against him, but was quick to add that he is ready to submit himself to further spiritual investigations to substantiate the veracity of the allegations being levelled by Favor against him and others.
