11th October, 2025

As part of preparations for the highly anticipated Duamenefa Grand Durbar slated for 18th October 2025, the Kpohega community today undertook a massive communal labour exercise at the Gefia Health Centre.

This initiative, spearheaded by the Duamenefa Foundation, marks a special day on the Foundation’s calendar, set aside for all Duamenefa communities to engage in communal labour activities in readiness for the grand event.

The exercise saw an impressive turnout of both Duamenefa members and non-members, who came together in unity to clean and revamp the premises of the health centre. Also present were unit committee members, traditional rulers, community elders, and the youth, all showing a strong sense of civic responsibility and dedication to community development.

Health workers at the Gefia Health Centre expressed their joy and appreciation for the effort, noting the significant impact the exercise will have on their operations and the well-being of patients.
