KETU NORTH: Members of the Duamenefa Foundation Empowered with Free Skills Acquisition to Empower Others

The Executive President Of the Duamenefa Foundation, Emmanuel Ketaman Evortepe, in collaboration with Treasures of His Eyes, a UK based Non- Profit Organization, led by the Country Director, Pastor Adefunke Adeoye and proudly supported by Tanko Foundation, Ghana, led by Hon. Gabriel Kwamigah Tanko Atokple, (Togbi Nyaxordeakorla I) has organized a free skills acquisition program for members of the Duamenefa Foundation from the various Communities of the Volta Region, Republic of Togo and beyond

The primary objective of the training program is to empower members of the Duamenefa Foundation to tackle unemployment and to alleviate poverty among the populace of the country. The program is an annual event which seeks to empower its members with varied skills ranging from production of batik tie & dye, liquid soap, bead making, pastries, tailoring, and farming tips among others.

Other side attractions were health talks by personnels from St. Anthony hospital and other motivational speakers.

Rev. Adefunke Adeoye, the Country Director of Treasures of Eyes, UK, has urged the participants during the two-day training to put into practice their newly acquired skills and endeavor to train other people of the various communities. Quoting the scriptures from Ezekiel 37, she encouraged the participants to know that with God all things are possible.

The participants express their profound gratitude to the organizers of the program with promise to use the skills acquired to empower other members of their communities.

The Duamenefa Foundation is a Non–Profit Organization with over 40,205 registered and certified volunteers. Registration of volunteers is still ongoing in the various communities of the Volta Region and online @duamenefafoundation.org//registration. The Objective is Social Intervention to Save the Vulnerable and Promotion of Peaceful Coexistence. The Foundation is Registered with the USA Government as 501C3.
