Final Journey Home: Agbotadua Kumassah to Be Laid to Rest This Saturday

The Volta Region, Ghana, and beyond are set to bid a heartfelt farewell to a distinguished son, Agbotadua Kumassah, an Executive Member of the Board of Governor’s of the Duamenefa Foundation, whose life was marked by unwavering dedication, leadership, and service to humanity.

Agbotadua Kumassah was not only a pillar of strength within the Anlo Dukor Traditional Council but also a visionary figure whose contributions significantly shaped the growth and unity of the traditional area. The Roman Catholic Church, particularly the Keta-Akatsi Diocese, is mourning his death. All 82 Rev. Fathers of the Diocese have expressed deep sorrow, describing his passing as a very unfortunate loss. Agbotadua Kumassah faithfully served the Church for many years, playing a vital role in its development through his service on various committees, most notably the Faith and Culture Commission, where his contributions were meaningful and enduring.

Duamenefa Foundation, an NGO with a registered membership of 48,654 across the world, has also expressed profound grief at his passing. As a dedicated board member, Agbotadua Kumassah contributed significantly to the success of the foundation, and his sudden departure has shocked the entire organization.
