The 2022 edition of the Duamenefa Regional Tournament began in top gear at the Dzodze Penyi Senior High School Park where Zone A, Group A and B Matches were played.
The Zone A Group A teams were Dzodze Down Town FC, Kasu Tsilime Young Stars, Akpatoe Young Brazilians and Kasu Unity Stars.
Group B teams were, Villenfranche Beaujolais FCc, Togo Neope Honu and Penyi Pedo United.
Dzodze Villenfranche Beaujolais FC and Togo Neope Honu FC
Dzodze Down Town FC and Kasu Unity Stars qualified to the next round of 32 with 4 and 7 point respectively.
Penyi Pedo United FC defeated Villenfranche FC one goals to nil.
Togo Neope Honu FC and Penyi Pedo United therefore qualified to the next round of 32 from Group B of Zone A.
Match day three was played at Atiavi Agbodekor R.C. basic school park.
On Saturday the 14th day of May, 2022, five teams namely; Atiavi Memuna FC, Flaflakpota Dragon FC, Atiavi Liberty FC, Tsiame Red Scorpions and Hatorgodo Platinum FC locked horns to compete to the round of 32.
Atiavi Liberty FC qualified to the next round of 32 with 4 points, followed by Hatorgodo Platinum FC and Flaflakpota Dragons FC with 2 and 4 points respectively.
ACTION FROM SEVERAL OF THE MATCHES
The competition moved to Ave Senior High School (AVESCO) park the following day with Awasive FC, Anatikope Baby Face FC, Ave Xevi Iron Breakers and Ave Atiglime Young Stars struggling to qualify to the next round.
Ave Atiglime Young Stars top the table position with 7 points, followed by Iron Breakers with 5 points.
Awasive FC and Baby Face could not make it to the next stage.
