The Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation and CEO of Fafaa 100.3 Fm, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, has reiterated that the Foundation is an inclusive organization that serves people of all religious backgrounds and is not affiliated with any particular faith.
He made the clarification during the Duamenefa Social Intervention Programme aired on Fafaa 100.3 FM, where he addressed public perceptions regarding the Foundation’s operations and its engagement with various religious groups.
According to Mr. Evortepe, the Duamenefa Foundation was established to promote peaceful coexistence, investigate cases involving alleged spiritual attacks, and provide support to individuals facing difficult circumstances, regardless of their religious affiliation.
He emphasized that the Foundation operates independently and was not founded to advance the interests of any specific religious group. As a result, its membership includes people from diverse faith backgrounds, including Christianity, Islam, traditional religion, and other belief systems.
Mr. Evortepe noted that the Foundation’s commitment to inclusiveness is reflected not only in its membership but also in its leadership structure, which comprises individuals from different religious traditions.
He explained that misconceptions sometimes arise when the Foundation engages with individuals, shrines, clergy, chief priests, priestesses, and other stakeholders during investigations. According to him, some people mistakenly interpret such engagements as hostility toward a particular faith or religious practice.
He stressed that these perceptions are inaccurate, maintaining that the Foundation’s primary objective is to establish facts, protect lives, and promote peaceful resolutions to disputes and concerns brought before it.
“The Foundation is for everyone,” Mr. Evortepe stated, adding that no religious group should view the organization’s activities as an attack on its beliefs or practices.
He further explained that the Foundation routinely collaborates with traditional authorities, religious leaders, community leaders, and relevant institutions in carrying out its social intervention programmes. According to him, such collaboration is necessary to ensure fairness, transparency, and effective problem-solving.
Mr. Evortepe also emphasized that respect for human dignity remains a guiding principle of the Foundation’s work. He noted that all investigations and interventions are conducted with impartiality and a commitment to justice.
The Executive President stated that the Foundation encourages open dialogue and engagement with all stakeholders as a means of addressing misconceptions and strengthening public confidence in its activities.
He added that when individuals are invited to participate in investigations, they should remain calm and cooperate with the process. According to him, transparency and openness help facilitate the search for truth and contribute to fair outcomes.
Mr. Evortepe further explained that the Foundation’s interventions are guided by its core mandate of saving lives, investigating allegations, and promoting harmony within communities. He stressed that the organization does not seek to undermine any religion, spiritual belief, or cultural practice.
The Foundation, he said, remains committed to working with people from all faiths and backgrounds in pursuit of peace, justice, and social stability.
He concluded by reaffirming that the Duamenefa Foundation will continue to operate as a neutral and independent institution dedicated to serving humanity without discrimination, while maintaining its commitment to inclusiveness, fairness, and community development.
