Duamenefa Foundation has honored Treasures of His Eyes, a United Kingdom-based organization, for its remarkable ten-year partnership and unwavering support toward the Foundation’s mission of making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
The honoring message was delivered by the Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, on the airwaves of Fafaa 100.3 FM during the Duamenefa Social Intervention Programme.
According to Mr. Evortepe, Treasures of His Eyes, founded by Mad. Adefunke Adeoye, also known as Mamaga Nutefeworla I, has maintained a fruitful and impactful partnership with the Duamenefa Foundation for the past ten years, providing valuable support to many individuals and communities in need.
He explained that through the partnership, numerous people have benefited from various forms of assistance, including skills training, donations and other social interventions. These initiatives, he said, have helped many beneficiaries acquire practical skills that have enabled them to become self-reliant and improve their livelihoods.
Mr. Evortepe noted that many of the skills-training opportunities and donations provided through the partnership have been offered to beneficiaries free of charge. He said the interventions have given people the opportunity to learn useful trades, develop their abilities and establish means of livelihood without having to depend entirely on others.
He stressed that the contribution of Treasures of His Eyes goes beyond the provision of material items, saying the organization’s interventions have brought hope and opportunities to people who otherwise may not have had access to such support.
The Executive President further disclosed that another phase of the initiative is currently ongoing. He said the founder of Treasures of His Eyes, Mad. Adefunke Adeoye, has arrived in Ghana from the United Kingdom to support and participate in the implementation of the new phase.
According to him, Mad. Adeoye’s presence in Ghana demonstrates her continued commitment to the partnership and her passion for supporting initiatives that positively impact the lives of people. He expressed optimism that the new phase would bring further benefits to the targeted beneficiaries.
Mr. Evortepe expressed his profound appreciation to Mad. Adeoye and Treasures of His Eyes for their commitment, generosity and dedication throughout the ten-year partnership. He acknowledged the significant role the organization has played in supporting the Foundation’s social intervention activities and reaching out to people in need.
He said the Foundation does not take the contribution of Treasures of His Eyes for granted, emphasizing that the organization’s support has helped make several interventions possible and has contributed to transforming the lives of many beneficiaries.
Reflecting on the ten-year journey, Mr. Evortepe also acknowledged that there may have been moments during the partnership when the Foundation might have offended Mad. Adeoye or fallen short in one way or another.
He therefore used the occasion to humbly appeal to Mad. Adeoye to forgive the Duamenefa Foundation for any mistakes, misunderstandings or actions that may have caused her displeasure throughout their years of working together.
Mr. Evortepe appealed to her to kindly find a place in her heart to forgive the Foundation, stressing that the organization deeply values the relationship that has been built over the past decade.
He said the ten-year partnership represents not only a period of collaboration but also a journey of shared commitment to serving humanity and creating opportunities for people to improve their lives.
The Executive President reaffirmed the Duamenefa Foundation’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with Treasures of His Eyes and continuing to work together to support more people through skills development, donations and other social intervention programmes.
He expressed the hope that the partnership would continue for many more years and that future initiatives would reach even more people and create sustainable opportunities for beneficiaries to become independent.
Mr. Evortepe concluded by thanking Mad. Adefunke Adeoye and Treasures of His Eyes for their trust, generosity and unwavering support over the past ten years, describing the partnership as a significant milestone worthy of recognition and appreciation.
