The Duamenefa Foundation has extended warm birthday wishes and honour to Mrs. Selasi Atokple Awunor, also known as Mama Nyaxordeakorla I, in recognition of her special day and her contributions to community and social development support activities associated with the foundation.
Mrs. Awunor is the wife of His Excellency Dr Gabriel Kwamigah Tanko Atokple, the Council of State Member representing the Volta Region and a proud headline sponsor of the Duamenefa Regional Tournament. The foundation described her as a supportive figure whose presence and encouragement continue to strengthen community engagement initiatives.



The official honour message was read by Abass Seidu on the airwaves of Fafaa 100.3 FM during the Agoo Intervention Morning Show. According to him, he spoke on behalf of the Board of Governors of the Duamenefa Foundation and the entire crew of the station in delivering the special birthday message to Mrs. Awunor on her significant day.
He further stated that the foundation and the station jointly acknowledged her support, together with her husband, in contributing to national development efforts in Ghana and specifically in support of the activities of the Duamenefa Foundation.
The message also expressed appreciation for their collaboration and goodwill, noting that their involvement continues to positively impact community development initiatives.
It was further stated in the message that prayers were offered for Mrs. Awunor, with the hope that God would answer her prayers in His own providing way, granting her good health, peace, and continued blessings.
The foundation emphasized that such recognitions are part of its commitment to honoring individuals who contribute meaningfully to its social intervention work and to the broader development of communities across the Volta Region and Ghana as a whole.
