The Duamenefa Foundation has distributed copies of its 2025 Duamenefa Regional Tournament report to traditional leaders and key stakeholders as part of efforts to share updates and document activities of the tournament. The report highlights key outcomes, observations, and overall participation during the 2025 edition of the regional sporting event.
The official announcement was made by the Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation and Chief Executive Officer of Fafaa 100.3 FM, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, on the airwaves of Fafaa 100.3 FM during the Duamenefa Social Intervention Programme.
According to him, the distribution of the 2025 Duamenefa Regional Tournament report is currently ongoing, with several traditional rulers and stakeholders already in receipt of their copies. He mentioned that some Members of Parliament (MPs) and Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) have also received the report.
Mr. Evortepe further explained that the exercise is being carried out in a structured manner to ensure that all relevant institutions and stakeholders receive copies of the report. He added that the Foundation remains committed to transparency and proper documentation of its activities.
He noted that every institution involved in or associated with the tournament will eventually receive a copy of the report, as part of efforts to keep stakeholders fully informed and engaged in the development of the regional sports programme.
He explained that the report also serves as a reference document for future planning and improvement of the Duamenefa Regional Tournament. According to him, lessons learned from the 2025 edition will help shape better organization, stronger participation, and improved coordination in subsequent tournaments.
Mr. Evortepe emphasized that sports development remains a key tool for youth engagement, unity, and talent identification within the region. He noted that the tournament continues to provide a platform for young people to showcase their abilities and stay away from negative social influences.
He further highlighted that the distribution of the report is also aimed at strengthening collaboration between the Foundation and traditional authorities, as well as government institutions. He said such partnerships are important for sustaining community-based development initiatives and promoting peace and unity.
In addition, he called on stakeholders to carefully review the report and provide feedback where necessary, stating that continuous engagement will help improve future editions of the tournament. He expressed appreciation to all partners and participants who contributed to the success of the 2025 event.
He added that preparations for the 2026 Duamenefa Regional Tournament will also begin soon. According to him, the Foundation is already laying the necessary groundwork to ensure a more successful and well-organized edition in 2026, building on the experiences and outcomes of the 2025 tournament.
