Duamenefa Foundation has extended its heartfelt wishes to candidates sitting for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), encouraging them to remain confident and focused as they undertake this important academic milestone. The foundation expressed optimism in the students’ abilities and urged them to approach their final examinations with determination and integrity.
The goodwill message was delivered by the Executive President of Duamenefa Foundation, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, during the foundation’s social intervention programme aired on Fafaa 100.3 FM. Speaking on behalf of the organization, he wished all BECE candidates the very best as they begin their final examinations on Monday, May 4, 2026.
Mr. Evortepe encouraged the candidates to remain confident and make full use of the knowledge and skills they have acquired throughout their years of study. He urged them to stay focused, remain calm, and commit their efforts to God, expressing hope that all their aspirations and hard work would yield success.
He further advised the candidates to conduct themselves with honesty and discipline throughout the examination period, cautioning them against engaging in any form of examination malpractice. According to him, true success comes through hard work, integrity, and dedication.
He also reminded candidates to prepare adequately by revising consistently, paying attention to key subject areas, and ensuring they get enough rest ahead of each examination paper. He noted that a well-prepared mind and body significantly improve concentration and performance during exams.
Mr. Evortepe stressed the importance of time management during the examination period, advising candidates to read instructions carefully, plan their answers well, and allocate time wisely to each question. He explained that effective time use can make a significant difference in overall performance.
He further appealed to parents and guardians to provide emotional and moral support to their wards during this critical period by creating a peaceful and encouraging home environment. He emphasized that a calm atmosphere at home helps reduce stress and improves students’ confidence.
The Executive President also called on teachers and schools to continue offering final revision support and guidance to candidates, ensuring they are well-prepared both academically and mentally. He commended educators for their continuous efforts in shaping and nurturing the future of the students.
He additionally urged candidates to avoid panic and examination anxiety, reminding them that the BECE is only one step in their educational journey. He encouraged them to remain positive and approach each paper with confidence and a clear mind.
Finally, Mr. Evortepe encouraged candidates to believe in themselves, avoid distractions, and resist peer pressure that could negatively affect their focus. He reiterated that discipline, hard work, and determination remain the key foundations for academic success.
