Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation, has encouraged members of the public to remain committed to activities undertaken with genuine intentions, stressing that a person with a clear conscience should not be intimidated by accusations or negative comments.
He made the statement on the airwaves of Fafaa 100.3 FM during the Duamenefa Social Intervention Programme.
According to Mr. Evortepe, anyone undertaking an activity with a good heart and genuine intentions should feel free to continue doing it without fear.
He encouraged the public not to allow accusations, criticisms or comments from others to discourage them from doing what they believe is right and beneficial to society.
“Anything you are doing with a good heart, just feel free to do it well because you have nothing to worry about and have nothing to do with any accusations,” he said.
Mr. Evortepe emphasized the importance of examining one’s motives before engaging in activities, particularly those intended to support individuals and communities.
He noted that when people act with sincerity and without hidden agendas, they should not be intimidated by allegations or negative comments.
He therefore encouraged individuals and groups involved in social intervention and humanitarian activities to remain focused on their mission and continue supporting people in need.
According to him, criticism should not necessarily be viewed as a reason to abandon good initiatives, adding that people should learn to distinguish between constructive criticism and accusations intended to discourage genuine efforts.
The Executive President further urged the public to support initiatives that seek to improve the lives of vulnerable people and contribute to community development.
He stressed that social intervention requires commitment, compassion and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Mr. Evortepe also called on individuals and organizations engaged in community work to be transparent in their dealings and ensure that their actions reflect the good intentions they profess.
He maintained that transparency and sincerity are essential to building public confidence and sustaining social intervention programmes.
He further advised beneficiaries and members of the public to verify information before drawing conclusions or making accusations against individuals and organizations involved in community development.
According to him, unfounded allegations can damage the reputation of people who are genuinely working to support society and may discourage others from undertaking similar initiatives.
He therefore appealed to the public to promote peace, understanding and responsible communication, while encouraging those engaged in genuine and beneficial activities to remain steadfast.
Mr. Evortepe reiterated that a clear conscience gives people the confidence to face accusations without fear, stressing that those who know they are doing the right thing should remain focused and continue their good works.
