The Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, has revealed that the organisation has rescued a total of 726 lives through its investigative and intervention programmes, between 2010 – 2026.
He made the disclosure during a live interview on Fafaa 100.3 FM as part of the Duamenefa Social Intervention Programme, attributing the achievement to the grace of God and the dedication of the foundation’s team.
According to him, the figure represents lives saved over the past 16 years since the establishment of the foundation, which he said has been actively involved in addressing cases involving alleged spiritual attacks and related social intervention concerns.
Mr. Evortepe explained that the foundation remains committed to protecting vulnerable individuals and intervening in situations where people report distressing or life-threatening circumstances. He added that without the foundation’s interventions, many of the affected individuals might not have survived, in his view.
He noted that the organisation continues to receive numerous petitions and distress calls from individuals and families seeking assistance, particularly in cases they describe as spiritual or unexplained attacks. Each case, he said, is treated seriously and subjected to a structured investigative process before any intervention is made.
Mr. Evortepe further stated that the foundation operates in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, such as, the National Commission For Civic Education (NCCE) The Centre For National Culture(CFNC) The Commission For Human Right And Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) The Ghana Police Service(GPS)and The Traditional Authorities (TA) together with a team of advisers and investigators who carefully assess each petition to determine appropriate steps, ensuring fairness and thoroughness in its interventions.
He added that community sensitisation forms a key part of the foundation’s work, encouraging people to report concerns early rather than suffer in silence. According to him, this approach has increased public awareness and strengthened trust in the organisation’s work.
The Executive President indicated that the Duamenefa Foundation will continue expanding its outreach and strengthening its intervention programmes to save more lives and support vulnerable individuals in distress.
He further stated that the Duamenefa Foundation is a registered non-governmental organisation licensed by the Department of Social Welfare and operates with the aim of promoting peaceful coexistence within communities. He noted that the foundation is headquartered at Woe Aklorbordzi off Deku Road within the Duamenefa Mission House, with an international office in the US. State of Alabama, registered in the USA as 501C3 Non Profit Organization.
Mr. Evortepe also disclosed that the foundation currently has a registered membership of 48,754 volunteers and continues to grow.
He added that the foundation’s investigative and intervention programme airs on Fafaa 100.3 FM every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., Thursday at 11:00 a.m., and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. (mega programme), during which petitions are reviewed and appropriate interventions undertaken.
