The President and Founder of Sesi-Edem Football Academy, His Excellency Gabriel Tanko Kwamegah Atokple, has fulfilled his promise to the team by purchasing a Nissan mini bus following the club’s impressive performance in the recently concluded Volta Regional Division Two Sub-Middle League.






The gesture underscores his continued commitment to the growth and development of the academy. The newly acquired bus is expected to ease the team’s transportation challenges, particularly during training sessions and official matches.
As part of his long-term vision for the club, His Excellency Gabriel Tanko Kwamegah Atokple further assured players and supporters of additional support in the future. He pledged to provide a bigger bus should the team qualify for the First Division League next season.
In a further boost to youth football development, His Excellency Tanko also renewed his commitment to nurturing young talents through the ongoing collaboration between Sesi-Edem Football Academy and the Duamenefa Regional Tournament. The partnership seeks to identify, develop, and promote talented players from the tournament through the academy, creating opportunities for them both locally and internationally.
Speaking in an interview, His Excellency Gabriel Tanko Kwamegah Atokple emphasized that youth empowerment and sports development remain central to his vision for the Volta Region. As a member of the Council of State representing the region, he reiterated his commitment to creating opportunities for promising young footballers within local communities.
He added that exceptional players discovered during the Duamenefa Regional Tournament would be given the opportunity to join Sesi-Edem Football Academy and potentially secure opportunities with clubs abroad.
The support and collaboration have been widely welcomed by players, the technical team, and football enthusiasts, serving as a major source of motivation as the academy continues its pursuit of excellence and success.
