Residents of the Wute Electoral Area in the Akatsi South Municipality have raised alarm over a severely cracked uncompleted building, expressing fear for their lives and safety. The distressed residents reached out to Fafaa Radio, pleading for urgent intervention to prevent a potential disaster.
Upon receiving the distress call, Fafaa Radio swiftly contacted the Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Wisdom Akpabli. He confirmed the residents’ concerns, stating that he personally visited the site to assess the situation.

“What the residents are saying is true. The cracks are serious, and the structure poses a real threat,” Hon. Akpabli stated. He further revealed that the building belongs to one Mr. Kwasi Kale. Hon. Akpabli captured video footage of the damaged structure and promptly forwarded it to the Director of Operations at the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) for urgent action.
The situation has caused widespread concern among locals who fear that the building could collapse at any moment, especially during heavy rains or strong winds.
