Ave-Dzadzefe Community Joins Duamenefa Volunteer Movement

The Ave-Dzadzefe community in the Akatsi North District of the Volta Region has officially joined the Duamenefa Volunteer Movement, made up of over 48,764 individuals.
Expressing its commitment to community development, volunteerism, and collective action.

On October 5, 2026, members of the community successfully registered to join the Duamenefa Foundation, a development that was met with excitement and gratitude from traditional rulers, stakeholders, community leaders, and residents.

The day also marked a significant milestone for Ave-Dzadzefe, as the community officially entered the record book of the Duamenefa Foundation as a recognised Duamenefa Community. The development symbolises the community’s new relationship with the Foundation and its commitment to participating in the Foundation’s activities and initiatives.

Speaking during the occasion, community members expressed their joy and appreciation for the opportunity to become part of the Foundation. Some said they have been looking forward to such an opportunity for a long time and were happy that it had finally come to their community.

Others expressed optimism about benefiting from the various initiatives and programmes of the Duamenefa Foundation, saying the membership would provide an opportunity for the community and its residents to participate in activities aimed at improving their livelihoods and promoting development.

The traditional rulers and community leaders also commended the Duamenefa Foundation for its efforts to bring communities together and create opportunities for people at the grassroots level. They said the initiative would help strengthen cooperation and encourage residents to take an active role in the development of their community.

They therefore called on residents, particularly the youth, to embrace the initiative and participate actively in the Foundation’s activities. According to them, unity, commitment, and cooperation among community members would be essential to maximising the benefits of the partnership.

The development is also expected to strengthen collaboration between Ave-Dzadzefe and other stakeholders, as the community seeks to identify and address challenges affecting the welfare and development of its people.

Community leaders expressed optimism that the partnership with the Duamenefa Foundation would bring lasting benefits to Ave-Dzadzefe and create new opportunities for residents. They further encouraged all community members to support the initiative and remain committed to activities that promote unity, progress, and sustainable development.

The community has consequently expressed its readiness to work closely with the Duamenefa Foundation and contribute to the success of its programmes, with the hope that the partnership will usher in a new chapter of development and empowerment for the people of Ave-Dzadzefe.
