The Duamenefa Foundation has expressed appreciation to individuals, organisations, partners and other well-meaning members of the public whose support continues to contribute to the Foundation’s intervention and investigative activities.
The appreciation was expressed by the Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, who acknowledged the important role supporters play in enabling the organisation to carry out its activities.
According to Mr. Evortepe, some individuals have voluntarily committed themselves to supporting the Foundation in various ways to ensure that its operations continue effectively.
He explained that some supporters provide airtime and data credit to assist Foundation officers in making calls, communicating with individuals involved in cases, gathering information and following up on interventions.
He added that others provide different forms of assistance whenever the need arises, describing such contributions as valuable to the Foundation’s day-to-day activities.
Mr. Evortepe said the Foundation does not take these sacrifices for granted, noting that timely communication and logistical support are often necessary when dealing with cases that require immediate attention.
He explained that some interventions and investigations require officers to contact complainants, witnesses, families, community members and other relevant stakeholders.
According to him, access to airtime, data and other logistical resources enables the Foundation to respond to such matters and conduct necessary follow-ups.
He therefore described the supporters as important partners in the Foundation’s efforts to assist individuals and communities with matters requiring intervention.
“These people are doing great work, and the Foundation recognises and appreciates their support. Without their assistance, it would be very difficult for us to carry out some of our activities effectively,” Mr. Evortepe said.
He emphasised that contributions which may appear small to donors can have a meaningful impact on the Foundation’s operations.
He noted that something as simple as providing airtime or data could enable an officer to contact a complainant, reach a relevant stakeholder, obtain information or follow up on an ongoing case.
The Executive President reiterated that the Foundation remains grateful to everyone who has contributed financially, materially or through other forms of assistance.
He also appealed to individuals, businesses, organisations, philanthropists and development partners who share the Foundation’s vision to consider supporting its activities.
According to him, increased support would enable the Foundation to strengthen its intervention programmes and respond to more cases, particularly those involving individuals who may require assistance and advocacy.
Mr. Evortepe stressed that collaboration is essential in addressing challenges within communities, noting that no single organisation can effectively respond to every social concern without the support and cooperation of other stakeholders.
He encouraged existing supporters to continue contributing to the Foundation’s activities while inviting other individuals and organisations to join the effort.
He assured supporters that the Foundation remains committed to using available resources to advance its intervention activities and reach individuals and communities that require its assistance.
Mr. Evortepe said the continued support from members of the public reflects a shared concern for the welfare of people in society and contributes to the Foundation’s ability to pursue its objectives.
He further called for stronger partnerships between the Foundation and institutions capable of providing resources, expertise and other forms of support to its intervention and investigative work.
The Executive President concluded by expressing gratitude to all supporters for their sacrifices, commitment and confidence in the work of the Duamenefa Foundation.
He assured them that their contributions are valued and remain an important part of the Foundation’s efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals and communities.
