Duamenefa Grand Durbar 2026 to Highlight Support for Farmers

The Executive President of the Duamenefa Foundation, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, has announced that farmers will receive special attention at the 2026 Duamenefa Grand Durbar, as the Foundation prepares to support members engaged in agricultural activities.

Mr. Evortepe made the announcement on the airwaves of Fafaa 100.3 FM during the Duamenefa Social Intervention Programme, where he outlined plans to improve the welfare of members through targeted social interventions.

According to him, the decision to focus on farmers is in recognition of their important contribution to food production, household livelihoods and community development.

He disclosed that the Foundation intends to provide fertilisers to farmer-members to support their farming activities and help improve agricultural productivity.

Mr. Evortepe encouraged members engaged in farming to remain committed to their work and make effective use of the support provided by the Foundation.

He noted that agriculture continues to serve as an important source of livelihood for many people and stressed that providing farmers with essential inputs could contribute to increased productivity and improved economic well-being.

The Executive President said the intervention forms part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to identifying the needs of its members and implementing practical programmes to improve their livelihoods.

He urged beneficiaries to use the fertilisers responsibly and apply them appropriately to maximise the benefits of the intervention.

Mr. Evortepe also called on farmer-members to remain united and actively participate in the activities of the Duamenefa Foundation. He said the success of the Foundation’s initiatives would depend largely on the cooperation and commitment of its members.

He further encouraged other members to participate actively in the Foundation’s programmes and support initiatives aimed at improving the welfare and development of members.

The 2026 Duamenefa Grand Durbar is expected to bring together members of the Foundation, traditional leaders, community leaders, farmers and other stakeholders to celebrate the Foundation’s activities and highlight its various social intervention programmes.

The event will also provide an opportunity for the Foundation to engage directly with its members, listen to their concerns and explore initiatives that can contribute to their social and economic development.

Mr. Evortepe reiterated that farmers would receive significant attention during this year’s activities and urged them to remain hopeful and committed to their agricultural work.

He assured farmer-members that the Foundation recognises their contribution to society and remains committed to supporting interventions that can improve their livelihoods.

“This year, there is much attention on you,” Mr. Evortepe told the farmer-members, assuring them of the Foundation’s commitment to supporting their agricultural activities.
