The Duamenefa Foundation has announced plans to provide support to eligible farmer members during this year’s Duamenefa Grand Durbar as part of its commitment to improving the welfare of members and promoting sustainable community development.
The announcement was made by the Foundation’s Executive President, Mr. Ketaman Emmanuel Evortepe, during the Duamenefa Social Intervention Programme on Fafaa 100.3 FM. He disclosed that, subject to the necessary arrangements, farmer members who meet the Foundation’s eligibility requirements will benefit from the initiative at the annual event.
Mr. Evortepe explained that the intervention is intended to recognize the invaluable contribution of farmers to food production, community development, and the national economy. He noted that supporting farmers is one of the Foundation’s ways of empowering members and encouraging increased agricultural productivity.
He stated that the Foundation remains committed to implementing programmes that improve the livelihoods of its members through targeted social interventions. According to him, the support package for farmer members is expected to strengthen their farming activities and contribute to their economic wellbeing.
Mr. Evortepe encouraged farmer members to remain dedicated to their work and continue participating actively in the programmes and activities of the Foundation. He assured members that the organization would continue to create opportunities that positively impact their lives and promote self-reliance.
He further described the Duamenefa Grand Durbar as more than a ceremonial gathering, noting that it serves as an important platform for introducing initiatives that address the needs of members while fostering unity and development within communities.
The Executive President reiterated the Foundation’s commitment to identifying practical ways of supporting its members and strengthening community development through sustainable interventions. He emphasized that empowering farmers aligns with the Foundation’s broader vision of improving livelihoods and enhancing food security.
Mr. Evortepe also called on all members to remain united and committed to the objectives of the Duamenefa Foundation, stressing that collective participation is essential to achieving the organization’s long-term vision.
He urged farmers to continue contributing to national development through their dedication and hard work, adding that investments in agriculture are investments in stronger communities and economic growth.
The Executive President reaffirmed that the Foundation will continue to introduce programmes that deliver meaningful benefits to both its members and the wider public, with a sustained focus on welfare, empowerment, and sustainable development.
