A Final Farewell: Agbotadua Kumassah Laid to Rest

Agbotadua Kumassah, known in his private lifetime as Mr. Fred Kwaku John Kumassah, who passed away at the age of 82, was laid to rest in a solemn and well attended ceremony that drew family members, friends, traditional leaders, and community members from near and far. The funeral ceremony took place at Ketasco Park, where a large number of attendees gathered to pay their last respects. Many chiefs from the Anlo Dukor Traditional Council participated, including a representative of His Royal Majesty Torgbiga Sri III, the overlord, Awadada Torgbui Agbesi Awusu II. Other dignitaries present included a representative from the palace of the Asantehene, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, chiefs from the Ga Traditional Council, and many more.

From the church he attended, the Roman Catholic Church, it was also testified that he contributed immensely to the progress of the church. Members described his passing as very unfortunate and expressed deep sorrow over the loss. They prayed that God would grant him eternal rest and bless the church with someone who would continue his good works and commitment.

Members of the Duamenefa Foundation, of which Agbotadua Kumassah was a board of governors member and a key supporter, were also present in large numbers to pay homage, reflecting the impact he had on the organization and its mission.
